Trichotomy 1.0 : An eclectic performance consisting of 3 scenes: pain, happy, serene with a focus on TheGreyman's deep and versatile voice (as instrument). Styles creating an arch from darkwave, chant, scatting, and beatbox, and mimicking of various instruments.

Parts of the performance will involve live looping, in which a song is constructed before hand (i.e. verse1, chorus) but with no pre-recorded or sampled elements, and then populated with sound during the performance, ran through an arsenal of effects, stacked layer upon layer to creating walls of sound or ...a complete cacophony if the timing is off, ensuring that no performance is exactly the same. Influences are Dead Can Dance, Depeche Mode, Tool, Enya, Bobby McFerrin, Kid Beyond, and the many colors of the human voice.

This is a part of the Drop Black Sky CD-Release party, and a special birthday performance.

This performance will have some new songs (the breakup song, tolha) and real time visualization, plus 20lb's less gear on stage(!). T-shirts and possible recordings may be available.

The nova express is a medium sized spacey feeling cafe with good food, free wireless. Located at 426 North Fairfax Ave., between Melrose and Beverly Blvd. It's across the street from Canter's Deli and between Cafe Largo and Damiano's.
